For all the shite people give Southwest Missouri, reality is that Springfield is a great town with a lot of old money. Great place to raise a family. Nice schools, both public and private. Certified test market for small businesses. Easy ccess to entertainment and recreation (lakes, hiking, camping, river floating, etc.)

I've lived in San Diego and coastal North Carolina. I love southwest Missouri.
