Oh and the WR's really don't get enough blame for last season. I'm praying that Brandon Allen can be what he's supposed to be and the new WR and getting Wilson back will give us weapons we didn't have last year.

Yep. I've said it ad nauseum (and I've used the phrase "ad nauseum" ad nauseum) but the WRs don't get near the blame they deserve. We win the LSU game if they hadn't dropped eleventy billion easy catches that would've been converted third downs. If they catch just one of those passes down the stretch, we win the LSU game and the tone of the offseason is much different in our fan base and likely similar following 2008 going into 2009 after MoM II.

LB's.... we might not have had a single SEC quality LB on the roster. Otha Peters is honestly the only returning LB that gives me any hope at that position, I'm reserving judgement on Ellis. #34 just isn't SEC caliber. We need miracles at all of the secondary positions, I'm trusting that Bielema knows what he's doing and Smith and Jennings can get solid play out of those guys.

True, and I'm hopeful that our style of offense takes the pressure off of our defense. With the three-headed monster of Marshall-Collins-Williams coupled with a (fingers crossed) better performance from our receiver corps and additional growth of Hunter Henry, I'm optimistic that we can do a better job of extending drives this year. We need to last year's three-and-outs into mid-level drives, last year's mid-level drives into field goal opportunities, and field goals into touchdowns. We have to extend our TOP to help the defense while we're still in depth-building mode.
