Football, for years, was all about pounding the football between the tackles and wearing down the opposition. Malzahn is doing the same thing...only doing it with speed. To me, you have to have a team that is in incredible shape. Gone are the fat boys slogging it away in the trenches. You are still wearing the opposition down...just doing it with players who are actually in shape. He saw what could be done when no one else saw it...or refused to consider it.
Are you suggesting the HUNH is a healthier offensive scheme alternative?
