I use it as a dis to indicate something is white trash and stupid lately and people know exactly what I'm saying when I do it.

To be completely honest with you, even my daughters use is for that purpose now. As do their friends.
You may see Roll Tide as some kind of badge of honor, but to pretty much everyone else on the planet it means Trailer Trash verbal emoticon.
