Alabama needed a blocked FG to escape the Tennessee game a few years ago in the same year they won it all. LSU made the NC game with two losses...I'd call that pretty lucky.

Yep, ultimately a penalty or injury or some other less visible luck could have been the difference. Instead, it happened in more legendary fashion, but it may not be any more lucky than some other event. I'm glad it happened that way, though.
