My personal opinion:

1. UGA
2. USC
3. UF
4. UT
5. Mizzou
6. UK
7. Vandy

Yes it's slightly homeristic, as 4th in the east would likely mean that Tennessee gets 7 wins which I think isn't totally unreasonable.

UK had a decent recruiting class and they'll probably make a little bit of noise soon, but not just yet. Similar situation to Tennessee, just not as good, with not quite as much young talent as we have.

Vanderbilt's switching to an entirely different defensive scheme and they don't have the personnel to run it effectively. A ridiculous amount of receiving yards are gone now too. They will get 4 wins minimum because of how soft their OOC is, but I see them struggling in SEC play. They won't be able to take advantage of a weak UGA or UF, and they're not beating Tennessee again. (If they do go ahead and call 911 as I'll likely be dead of alcohol poisoning.)

Mizzou loses a lot of personnel too. Both defensive ends, two linebackers, and both corners off the defense. They lose all three starting WRs, Offensive guard and tackle, TE, and Josey (although their other RBs are solid.)

UF is a bit of a mystery. How good is Roper? Cutcliffe is obviously the brains behind the Duke offense, but exactly how much of that can be attributed to Roper? Can Driskel finish off his career well? How are the receivers going to be? Offensive line? I know they had big struggles last year... sometimes with blocking the OTHER team. I expect the defense to still be good, especially their secondary, but their run defense might just take a step back.

USC will be really good. I'm just not sure they'll be as good as they were last year. Connor Shaw was a man's man at QB and what I've seen of Thompson I'm not convinced he'll completely be able to fill his shoes. But other than that their offense is going to be super solid with Byrd and Roland and Davis. Clowney and Quarles gone too, so I'm not sure how they're going to be on the D line. Their linebacking corps are very solid, but that secondary... looks problematic.

UGA's season will live or die by how well their offensive line plays and how well Hutson Mason can handle the QB position. The WR's are all solid, Gurley is... Gurley, and Hutson Mason is probably going to be solid, but not anywhere near Murray level. The Offensive line returns only two starters, but it's the center and a tackle so the situation isn't as bad as ours but not by a whole lot. That defense has a lot of potential though. A whole lot of experience is returning and some really good talent. That's the main reason I have them winning the east.

Not unreasonable.

But who is UK out-recruiting?

You're underestimating Roper at UF.

You're saying UGA's D will be their strength while 99% of everyone else is saying it will be their weakness?

Fair assessment from outsider. What rivals (and a lot of Gator fans who are uninformed) don't know is that 2013 was a complete disaster from the getgo..2 OL out from day one and then it got worse from there. Our starting five OL will have starting experience except for one upperclassman perhaps (depending on starters)).

UF had 59 players board plane for Columbia last November and four were walk ons for special teams and we had a third string qb. We fought USC tooth and nail until 4th qt collapse. Watch the girls school tape and you will see UF outplayed them for 1.5 qts until starters on defense got worn down from lack of subs.

Our Lbs are now healthy and our defense will be tougher than a five dollar steak. Driskel is now r/s junior and will show folks how dangerous he can be at qb. WR corp will be greatly improved and we have Kelvin Taylor at RB along with Adam Lane to go with 2012 players Jones and Brown. We will run the ball and keep defenses guessing. I expect Driskel to break many long runs with the defenses spread out.
