The great road trip week is finally upon me. Long day of travel tomorrow. Leave work at 11am MST to head to the airport and we probably won't arrive in Columbia until about 12-1230ish am EST Thursday, assuming no flight delays. My 2hr layover is in KC. We're not planning on going out after checking in to our hotel that late. It's basically pointless at that time and we'd be better off getting more sleep and feeling great for Thursday.

I'll re-read the whole thread many times over at least, between this evening and during my travels tomorrow. Lots of great info from both fanbases. It's much appreciated. Thanks to Cristobal bustin a move out to the deep Atlantic, it looks like the weather will be amazing all weekend. I can't wait to experience the people and atmosphere at each gameday.

Thurs in Columbia we'll be tailgating, then go to the game of course, then head to the bars afterwards.

Saturday in Athens will likely be the same general plan. No tickets yet (haven't tried), but we plan to really get working on that Friday and/or Saturday.

I'll look at suggestions and input in this thread from UGA folks about Friday night, but since it is the week of, are there any good live music shows going on Friday night that we should consider? Rock, classic rock, blues, southern blues rock, bluegrass, etc.
