Wisconsin would have run the ball well against anybody last year, but especially after having had a month to prepare and heal-up. They had a very physical running game. They were Top Five in the nation if I remember correctly, and their line was enormous and their RBs very very good. I mean very good. One of those kids, if not both, are prime NFL material.
That reads like the excuses from Dawg fans regarding Willie Martinez his first 3 seasons.

Except Ward has screwed the pooch on one, maybe two, in his first three years.
Know the difference and don't play word games or let's admit what you're doing here and move on.
And Conway us right. When I quoted "top five" I may have been thinking Wisconsin defense. I dunno, I'm getting older and senile(r) than I used to be so frick'et. Whatever. They were top five at something and they had a punishing running game IMHO. Two really good backs. Maybe someone else remembers those two backs.
