I didn't read the rest of this thread but have you all never seen how the cable co's treat content companies like ESPN?

This is standard operating procedure. It's very much akin to the Budget Deficit Ceiling negotiations when no one really starts talking turkey until about 72 hours prior to the deadline.

Y'all need to get out more.
