but LSU's super freshman RB is totally proven and deserves all the hype right? I mean he was running all over HS kids last year.....THAT'S GOTTA MEAN SOMETHING RIGHT?

I know of two unproven Alabama players who have actually played snaps at the collegiate level but you know...THEY PLAY FOR ALABAMA AND ALL so they must have playstation stats before they're any good.

And that is why you don't get it. Nobody is talking heisman for Fournette, and nobody is putting him in top 5 list when he hasn't even done anything yet.

A 5 star #1 overall RB freshman being touted as the #10 conference RB is way different than a 3 star QB, who couldn't cut it at another school for three years, being touted as not only the 5th best QB (a position that is way harder to play) in the conference, but as a heisman contender. Tell me what he has that would make him a legit contender? What have you seen to warrant that?

Media is only saying Fournette is 10th at best RB in the conference, a position that's only real challenge is blitz pick up. Even the few more homer LSU fans like me, think he could play as good as Hill did his freshman year, but contribute a lot more than the 8 games Hill played in. I'll shout 1000 yards rushing til your ears bleed because he is set up to do just that.

Best online in Miles tenure, check
Inexperienced and young QB, check
Inexperienced WRs with few catches (8 total), check
Only one true threat ahead of him that has been a 3 year career backup, check
A head coach that would run the ball every play in a drive than spans 70+ yards, check

Sure it's homer, sure it's unrealistic to most, but it is a lot more likely go happen, than Coker being a heisman contender.
