Their basketball program would be just as good and their football team would be as good as Louisville's if they had gone to the ACC in the 90's. Louisville has eclipsed UK as an overall athletic program because UL slowly built a program against equal competition while UK has been a doormat in a dominant football league for decades. It would be wise for them to bolt now as well. And before you say "money", the other Big 5 conferences are holding up just fine financially.

Given the football series in the modern era is in their favor 12-8 lets not get crazy.
