So you're going to penalize Miles for a 2 or 3 shitty games he's coached in the last 8 years, but not Gus and Sumlin for getting the dog shite beat out of them by Miles teams, and Gus for coaching just as many shitty games as Miles? Yeah, you're impartial.

Like I said, you have an argument with Sumlin. His body of work hasn't lost him games, but it's smaller. Gus did something last year that Miles hasn't, overachieved, and y'all beat them at home in a monsoon in his first year when you had more talent. As I've said before, I'm judging Miles on what I've seen, which is mostly OM games. I can't judge him on what I haven't

This is false. Miles most definitely over-achieved in 2005 and 2010.

In 2005, our second game of the season was a Monday night game in the end of September, the weekend hurricane Rita struck. We had two Cat5 hurricanes hit Louisiana in a month, played 11 weeks with no bye, and still had an 11-2 season. The 2005 recruiting class was ranked 22nd.

In 2010, our offense was one-dimensional, and roughly 40% of that single dimension was Stevan Ridley. We still had a good season.
