I could believe UGA would have a decent year next year if Mason had done better in the bowl game and if I didn't have a sneaking suspicion that Gurley is saving himself for the NFL.
Which for Gurley is understandable after watching Marcus Lattimore's injury saga.

Completely hypothetical guessing on your part. By the way, Gurley is not the only RB on the roster. If he gets injured, I am quite sure UGA is capable to move forward. And Mason's performance on a soggy football field in a bowl game has absolutely nothing to do with his performance for the next year. This type of argument always confounds me, do people actually think that athletes never use past failures as future motivation. Conversely, does past success not also breed future complacency?

I don't know why people are giving him so much shite for that game. Yea, he was only %53 but I would think that had more to do with the recievers not catching a wet ball. What all of you don't realize, is that he threw for 320 yards that day.
