Really? seven seasons is a pretty decent sample size. Of course we could cherry pick UGA-style and look at 2002-2005. A time when Florida was down, South Carolina was mediocre, and Tennessee was slipping.

Yeah, really. I'm not saying it is not a good sample size, I'm saying that you'd expect him to choose a 5 or 10 year period, or to go back to a coaching change or the entrance or exit of a generational player (Stafford in '06 or Green in '08, maybe). Just odd, that's all.

Talk about cherry picking. Why not use last season when we beat two highly ranked teams? Wouldn't that be a little more indicative of where the program is heading? But then you would be faced with your own teams failure, wouldn't you?
