Agreed, but honestly it was the women's game that brought about those changes. They were/are way past due.

The state of SC has been a strong soccer state since the late 60s to early 70s. It caught fire in this state well before other southern states to the best of my knowledge. I remember when the NASL was formed and all the hoopla that followed here in SC.
