Venom technically (rule of thumb: vemon is injected while poison is ingested). But yeah, the venom is a hemotoxin which should only be dangerous if it enters the circulatory system. Now if some of the undenatured venom is absorbed during digestion, that snake could be in trouble. Oddly enough, the vemon could then be considered a poison

Not to the Eastern Indigo. They're immune to rattlesnake venom.

Seriously, these guys will eat any small animal but they prefer to eat rattlesnakes.

If you're going to tolerate any snake living around your home, this is the one.
