I think the bottom line is you don't want either guy if you ever want to win the big one again.
Fulmer was winning 9 or 10 games a year with Cutcliffe, sometimes 11, occasionally mixing in SEC East "titles" and national contention, but Tennessee was never a serious national title contender. UGA is in the same boat. Richt is never going to get that program a national title. He will get you a lot of Ws and keep you in contention. UGA fans seem fine with that though which is fine.

Why not? How long did it take Paterno or Dooley to get a title? Hell it took Bowden 18 yrs to win one at FSU. The fact is, you guys say this like it's a fact. You have no idea. Odds are pretty good that if he sticks around long enough, he'll get one. He's been REALLY close 3 different times, just hasn't gotten the lucky breaks that every team gets/needs. Auburn had more luck in 2013 than Richt has had in 12 yrs as a head coach at UGA.
