I don't care enough to pay attention to who's running for what. Politics bore the Hell out of me. I think you would rather me not vote than vote on something that I don't know about.

Really? Get with it and find out about the people running for office. I'm pretty sure you'd be surprised at what you don't know about the fricks that are running this country.

Unless they did something like kill five hookers in a desert, I don't care about them. They probably aren't affecting my life very much. As long as I still have cable, internet, music, sports, and able to go on vacation every once in a while, I'm pretty happy.

If you don't take the steps to protect the rights you've been given in the Constitution then you may not be doing or having these things...just sayin.

What constitutional rights are they going to take away that will prevent me from doing those things?

And what, risk revolution? Seems to me those who look to use the system for profit want to keep the status quo going. Comfortable people don't risk prison and death to rock the boat.

Voted Obama first time around in sheer avoidance of Palin. Voted for Romney once I had a taste of his super left agenda.

The part that pissed me off the most is that Romney was straight up criminalizes in the debates for being a successful business man. There was a real part in the debates where Romey asked Obama "what's in your pension plan?" Obama gave a smug "I don't know".

Because that's awesome to not give a Shyte about what your future is invested in. Rather than following someone who knows how to create wealth we went with a guy who thinks it's super cool to just not pay attention to petty things like finances.

Mittens flopped on purpose in the election. Obama had the IRS do some digging on him after he opened him up in that first debate. Mittens took the fight to obama for the first debate and then his campaign never went back to that. Mittens flopped.

Wait, do some of you think there is a real difference between Democrats and Republicans? C'mon. Different talking points, sure, but a real, behind the scenes difference? Nope.

Obama will go down as one of this country's best Presidents, no matter how much you redneck republicans hate him because he is black.

more likely he will go down as one of the best because he is a liberal and the media is liberal. Then again the list of best presidents by the majority, usually turns out to be the worst actual ones.

This sentiment reminds me of this.

Inverted totalitarianism

, inverted totalitarianism is described as a system where corporations have corrupted and subverted democracy and where economics trumps politics.[5] In inverted totalitarianism, every natural resource and every living being is commodified and exploited to collapse and the citizenry are lulled and manipulated into surrendering their liberties and their participation in their government by excess consumerism and sensationalism.
