Regardless of what looks right or what should have happened, in college football you are awarded national championships by polls. If no highly reputable poll voted Alabama #1 in 1966, then we didn't win it. This is the point that most auburn fans seem to struggle to grasp.
That didn't stop y'all from claiming 1925, 26, and 30.

Well the 1925, 1926, and 1930 title claims were undefeated Rose Bowl winners that all had at least 3 different polls from the day awarded them as national champions.
