2010 Auburn could barely beat 2010 Alabama (along with about half of the other teams they played).

Huge LOL at anyone who thinks "going undefeated" somehow says a team is somehow superior. The schedules they play and the manner in which they win/lose has to be taken into account.

Example, 2009 Alabama went undefeated and 2011 & 2012 Alabama did not but there is no doubt in my mind 2011/2012 were far superior teams to 2009.

You're right schedule is very important which is why going undefeated against 7 ranked teams is 100x more impressive than losing a game against 3 (one being in a rematch).

Thanks for helping prove our point.

The 2010 Auburn offense would be an interesting matchup against the 2011 Alabama defense.

Jefferson had some success against the defense with his legs, it would be interesting to see Cam with our OL that year go against one of the best defenses college football has ever seen.

I'd probably take 2011 Alabama, but I think Cam Newton would get his and our front 7 in 2010 could contain Alabama's running game.

The real difference in this hypothetical game is if AJ McCarron plays like he did in the national championship game or if Saban held the reigns on him. Our secondary will pretty damn weak that year and could be shredded by 2011 Alabama.
