How is that interesting at all? Whites make up the vast majority of the country. Is it interesting because it's a violent crime stat that mimics the overall population more so than other stats?

I'm in psychology. Stuff like that, whether it's perception or based on demographics, interests me.

Not really. I'm looking more so at the type of crime committed. What we look at as "serial killers" and the media coverage aspect.
