i was just looking up his record... the year immediately following Alverez (2006) was very good (12-1), then digressed for a couple years before picking back up in 09 and 10 (2010 being the first B10 title).
His overall conference mark was a little suprising to me... over his 7 years at Wisconsin, he lost 19 Big10 games -- 2.7 losses per year. That's still very good, but I was expecting something better, given his success and the three championships.
