With the announcement that Kelvin Rainey is transferring, and the assumption that we are going to lose one prospect out of the incoming class to academics, we are now down to 82 scholarships.
Any damage done from your perspective? Seems like we lost the ones we pretty-much expected to lose with the exception of Christian. I'm also a little surprised Will Sport survived, but maybe his light will come-on this year.
This staff appears to be reloading and refining at this stage.

I'm surprised and disappointed that Rainey is leaving. I really thought he was going to be a player for us.
His guardian came off as all class, though, and didn't sound like there were any hard feelings.

This...
He seemed like he had all the ability and talent to succeed, but moving him around so much didn't help, I imagine. Good luck to him where ever he ends up.

He was just a little too much of a tweener. Not quite big enough to play TE, not quite fast enough to play LB. Kid was athletic, but there were some other factors in play I believe.
The general rule is that if you have not landed firmly in a position by your third year in the system, and especially if you are not contributing somewhere, then your days are numbered.

Rainey was only heading into his third year though right?
I would have thought a receiver or Will Sport would have transferred before Rainey.
