People are offended by all sorts of things. Again, you can't please everybody.
I (and a lot of other Redskins fans) would be offended by changing the name. It would basically be the league telling me that what I'd cheered and supported for my whole life didn't matter because a small minority of people thought it was offensive, even though it hasn't been used as a slur in basically the past century.

You'd be offended if it were changed to a non racially charged name? I try to empathize and see issues from someone else's worldview, but I just can't here
