If we finish 60th or so I feel like we can win 9 games which is fine with me. And possibly more than that if the offense meshes quicker than I expect

It depends on how much improve and develop the return players from last year will be. Last year our defense was a train wreck so it can not get any worse. Lets hope we have a better year

The problem is our defense is gonna have to improve while our offense is going to have to rebound from our losses. Manziel saved a lot of plays on his own and without him, this offense is going to have to control the clock a little more because we aren't going to be scoring 40+ every game like we did with Manziel.

I love Garrett and think he is a great addition but there are two things with that. He will only be as good as how much the rest of the line can help. If he's your only threat, teams can double/chip him on any passing play.

And We HAVE to stop the run. It's as simple as that. Look at the schedule:

South Carolina - New QB, stud RB Mike Davis. They will look to control the clock
Arkansas - QB issues, two stud RBs in Collins and Jonathan Williams. Will look to control the clock.
MSU - Prescott not the best passer. Lose Perkins but have talented backs.
Bama - New QB, loaded backfield, pretty simple
Auburn - Lose Mason but Roc Thomas will pick up right where he left off
LSU - Lose Hill but Fournette is right there

Without as high-flying of an offense, our defense is going to have to help get them on the field more, but if you can't stop the run, that becomes a problem. And when you can't stop the run, the passing game becomes more of a problem. You control the line, the rest gets a huge boost
