Although I think he refused to allow any kind of criticism about players or coaches which was pretty shitty, especially when it was deserved.

Well that was never true. The admin made it a tradition to establish vent threads for years there for the specific purpose of allowing posters the opportunities to complain about the games. They could always - and can still - complain about how the games were played: the execution, the gameplans, the decision-making, etc.

It was the posters who feel the need to post that certain players are shite or need to be kicked off teams, or coaches are shite and need to be fired, or other extreme forms of direct bashing that the admins like Spurticus draw the line on. And why shouldn't they: the posters who post that shite don't have one fricking clue about whether or not a coach or player is shite, and playing or coaching poorly in a collegiate game doesn't make those coaches or players shite anyways.

No one who posts on those sites (and this one) have any rights to anything. It's like being invited into someone's house to talk sports. If you're not mature enough to know to wipe your feet off before entering, then you belong outside with the rest of the dogs and animals. You want to start cussing and pitching a fit, you need to remember you were invited there but you don't have a right to stay there. People who feel they need to trash other people's lives personally because they lose a college game lead sad, sorry lives. No matter if those posters are 20 or 60....

Well I think its ridiculous to expect to keep all criticism in one thread especially when you have a year like we had last year. Sure they posted a vent thread after every game but not all criticism is directly related to a specific game. So they expect people complaining about season long trends leading up to a game mid-week to point out their issues in a thread thats hundreds of pages long and several days old?

Thats not conducive for a discussion and its why they ban/consolidate all other "negative" threads/posts into it. They don't want anything but sunshine pumping and its why I don't consider the website to allow criticism of the team, players or coaches.

Its a website that wants their posters to be decked out in garnet-tinted glasses, shitting rainbows and burping butterflies 24/7.

I also understand its their website to run and its why I refuse to give them traffic and tell others to avoid it like the plague.
