Agreed, saying that team overachieved is cheapening what they accomplished on the field. They achieved what they were capable of doing period. They had the coaching and talent. They may have exceeded fans expectations by and large, but that doesn't equate to overachieving.

I think he meant we overachieved from what was expected.
I know that is what I meant.
