Born in Texas, raised in Louisiana, Georgia, Arizona, Arkansas (x2) and Kentucky.
Was more of a pro-football fan (Oilers) until the 1993 Sugar Bowl. Started cheering for Alabama in '93 after watching them beat Miami and followed Alabama (even moving there for a short while) until 2005 or 2006.
Started following UK football in 2005 and ended up with a law degree from UK. Stopped cheering for Alabama altogether after a bad experience with a bunch of their fans last year in Commonwealth.
Still do not care for basketball (UK or otherwise) but have been a season ticket holder at Commonwealth for several years, going back to when I was a student.
