I can only think of around 10 Auburn fans off of the top of my head that I work with currently, and none of them went there. They also don't donate money to the school outside of going to a game every couple of years.
But with that said, the last company I worked for did have several engineers that were AU grads (the conference room in the engineering area was actually called the plains conference room).
I think you are spot on with the fact that there are a lot of sidewalk Bama fans that give a lot of money to the university, but the AU sidewalk fans for the most part don't.

We have a lot of sidewalkers, but we aren't even in the same conversation as Bama, IMO.
There are plenty of Arkansanians who don't even football. As a state we are not as crazy about it as Alabama, in my big ole valid opinion.
