Richt's problem is he has never been able to put together a complete team

I disagree on that. 02 and 04 were complete teams with no real weaknesses. 12 had enough offense to carry the weak spots on defense except for about 20 minutes worth of the biggest game of the year, and it proved to be our undoing.

While it's true that bama and UF had a run of top 2/3 classes, we've had enough talent. Of course it'd be nice to have a few more 5 stars, but outside of a few years we've had plenty enough talent.

On the contrary we've suffered due to too much discipline. Our players aren't doing anything different on the weekends than what the other SEC players are doing. But instead of making people run stadiums or brushing a drug test under the rug, we let the AJC publish it for national news and suspend for first offenses.

Our biggest issues have been lack of good coordinators at the same time (minus 01-04).

There's a stat that proves we haven't had enough talent. I can't remember how far back it goes but every one that has had a NC has had a top 5 class while we have not.
