When did UGA reside in Louisiana? I think MS and AL also have more talent per capita than GA
Whoever you quoted was incorrect in saying "per capita", but overall there is far more talent in GA than those others. We're behind CA, TX, and FL pretty much when it comes to HS talent on a yearly basis.

Richt is a hell of a coach. The GA athletic department has saddled him with very difficult schedules. One year GA played AZ St., OK St. and GA Tech out of conference. It's ridiculous to expect titles when you have a brutal schedule. The two years they won the SEC, there were two undefeated teams out there, so they didn't get to back their way in to a title game the way many SEC champions have.

You may be mistaking total numbers, and per capita. LA has the most NFL talent per capita. Actually DC was ahead, but they aren't state.
Eta did quick search. Article is from Step '12.
says 4th year in a row.

quote:Either way the aggie fan is wrong. Texas has more DI recruits than Ga and the aggies have won squat and I thought Mississippi had the highest per capita for NFL players but I could be wrong about that one.
