It's legally murky surrounding the forced selling.
A) He has to get fair market value or the NBA pays him a monster penalty.
B) The owners agreement is specific about the cause for a forced sell. It doesn't appear this is covered by the agreement.
I will say this though, it's amazing how many white guys come running in and white knighting for any other white guy caught being racist. It's like the subject hits really close to home or something.

If Sterling wanted his name in the media more (which I'm sure he doesn't) he could have a legitimate court case on his hands.
