Some guy on PowerMizzou just said he talked to "big donor" and a contract for Marshall will be presented to the BOC for 3.2 mil and 6 years.
Howland is the backup plan for a million less per year.
Anderson is out of the running.
If this ends up being true, I think I would take Howland for a million less

I don't get how it will fly to pay the bball coach more than Pinkel.
I assume Pinkel would have to get another bump in pay..
(I might be more inclined to put some of this donor money into facilities, instead of coaching salaries).
And I don't understand for one second how it makes sense to hire Ben Howland.
Guy is 56, has a controversial past, and we're trying to clean up the image of our athletic department. Makes zero sense.
