I still oppose his right to free speech being abridged.
His rights aren't being "abridged". He made a private agreement when he became an owner in the NBA, part of that agreement included the league's power to fine him if he pulled a stunt like this. This is a private manner completely of his own choosing.

The league can fine him for whatever damn reason they please. What, are you going to infringe upon their freedom of association and right to run their business as they please?
