People get fined in pro sports all the time for not breaking the law. He will probably get the biggest fine in NBA history (the max right now is 1m) and some sort of suspension. And deservedly so.
Like Patton said if he wants to fight that then go ahead.

I still oppose his right to free speech being abridged. And they get fined for breaking team or league rules. If no rule was broken,there should be no fine.
