House, one of Houston’s best players the past two seasons and a conference freshman of the year in 2013, has been granted a conditional release from the Cougars after a recent coaching change and has several programs — including Tennessee and SEC rival South Carolina — on his list. House is scheduled to visit the Gamecocks this week, but Tennessee also believes it has a chance to stay in this fight. And this is a fight worth fighting. House was a five-star prospect just two years ago and ranked top-25 nationally by just about every major network.
