Seriously, this ridiculous thread is still going on?

Let's just clear everything up from an outsider's perspective:

1) Auburn? Bama clearly has a better football history and tradition than you do. You can argue until you're sort of reddish orange-y in the face and shuffle around numbers and write fascinating science fiction wherein the Bear was never born, but every football fan in the country who isn't motivated by personal issues on the matter would agree.

2) Bama? Auburn has a damned good history. Why would you even want to deny it? It's part of the mystique of college football in Alabama, with two great programs going up against each other year after year (except for that decades-long snit back in the day), with both programs worthy of being called traditional national powerhouses. Auburn has been around since the early days of Southern football and has acquitted itself quite well.

Are we agreed? If not, hush and nod agreeably anyway because you're wrong.
