Arkansas had a coach like Counzo, except his name was Stanley, both were bald bores on the sidelines compared to their predecessor, both coached a brand of ball that was a 180 in terms of style to their predecessor, both were seemed as mediocre compared to their predecessor. Things couldn't get worse, right?

Wrong.

Because you followed the piss poor hire of Heath with John Pelphrey, a coach with a winning percentage below 55.

Making back-to-back hires as bad as Heath and Pelphrey is much more similar to Tennessee football post Fulmer than Tennessee basketball.

Actually the hire was Altman, who was a good hire, the refusal to allow him to bring his academic support staff was, well, dumb.

Tennessee hasn't made a hire yet.

After Heath, their was a refusal to spend the money to get a great coach, we had washed up "names" showing interest in the job and a pool of mid-major gambles as a result.

Tennessee has just as much of a chance as hiring the next Pelphrey as they do the next Martin.
