Yeah, I bought two Sig 1911s a few months back when they were running a buy one get one free deal for the .45/.22.. My thinking was the .22 could be used as a target gun, since the platform is the same, hence saving me money compared to .45 ACP. Come to find out, .22 ammo is over .10 a round now and you can't find it. While it's still cheaper, it's crazy that taking my .22 to the range costs me over $5 to shoot.
