I don't buy that you 'can't have' a great defense if you have an offense like Gus'. I think that's speculative at best.
I'm expecting good things from Moncrief in the secondary and some predictability at LB. Not worried about the D-line.
I hope Garrett gets some prime time billing this year. I think he could be a force on defense and he needs to be out there.

I think our defense will surprise a few folks this year.
DL - is solid with 5 guys coming in, Williams, Thornton, Lambert, Lawrence and Kennion.
LB - switch has worked and add Garrett, Williams
DB - Holsey is back. Moncrief is here. Reed, Rudy Ford, Roberts coming in.
First few games will be squirrely.
