Well, in that case, fire up the googles and provide proof to your claims:
quote:
it dwarfs the basketball attendance of every school not named "Syracuse" or "Kentucky".

College baseball is a tremendous success

a revenue sport at many schools.

You're the one challenging, you do the work. I've actually posted that info before.
Syracuse and UK were the only basketball schools to break the 400K mark in attendance last year. LSU baseball also broke 400k attendance...for the second year in a row.
I actually thought that was common knowledge by now. Guess not.

The point I am trying to make
Is that when it comes to the NFL/NBA... its like rock music. Rock has a lot of different genres within itself, like alternative, metal, soft rock, etc. NFL = Hard Rock, College Football = Alternative. It's a different product but still appealing. NFL is Aerosmith and College Football is Coldplay. Different styles but both appealing
Meanwhile when it comes to MLB/College Baseball... MLB is like a big rock band like the Rolling Stones and College Baseball is a Rolling Stones Cover Band. Just inferior all around
