Had the correct call been given, then AU would have taken a knee and ran the clock out. This is correct that the need for the "miracle" would not have been present absent the blown TD call, but I don't really mind the luck/miracle stuff regarding 2013. It was a crazy year. As long as people don't go too far in trying to take away credit from the team and coaches, who by any account improved unbelievably throughout the year and with even marginally better luck win the BCS title, I'm alright w/ it.

2013 was unlucky at the end of the day. The UGA play was only necessary after UGA was given 7 points they did not get.

The Kick 6 was good coaching and the "luckiest" play of the game was the 99 yard td when our defenders ran into each other.

The FSU loss required everything going against us to eventually lose.

Of course the unlucky breaks against UGA and Bama eventually led to much more satisfying and fun wins, but AU was pretty unlucky to even have needed the winning plays against both.

1. I could agree.

2. That wasn't Cooper's only big catch. Furthermore, you had the lowest ranked passing defense in the SEC and one of the worst in the country. Giving up big plays was nothing new for Auburn's secondary; Alabama just happened to be the benefactor on 1.

3. Florida State found themselves in an 18 point hole, which could have been worse, because everything had been going against them. Did you not see the wide open receivers and short fields that you guys had?

4. Eh.
