If you think there are only 2 characters in the show then you need to watch it again. There's a lot more to the show than Marty and Rust.

4 of those 14 specifically mention they are basically irrelevant.
I'm not saying the quality of the characters is bad, but we don't see much of any character other than Marty and Rust.
