FTR, I was ready to fire him after 2010, but McGarity was a new AD and didn't take that step. Since then, we've won a lot of games, and the program is in a good place, contrary to popular opinion on the rant. You simply can't fire him now. It's not practical.

At the beginning of 2010, a ton of UGA fans were done with CMR. The 2012 season did a lot to heal that.

Yet, at the same time...also left a massive gaping hole in my heart where the 2012 SECCG should be.

Maybe even more so at the beginning of 2011, the only time I've ever felt like we should move on.

We had just witnessed in the last three games:

2010 Liberty Bowl loss to UCF that completed our first losing season in like 15 years.

2011 Chick-fil-a Kickoff loss to Boise in what was a de facto home game. It was known if we started the year 0-2 that some asses would be chapped.

2012 SEC Opener loss at home to USCe in a sloppy game that our TOs and special teams errors cost us. First time losing consecutive years to USCe in god knows when. My arse was chapped after these three performances.

Then we reeled off 10 in a row and I guess the rest is history.
