I never argued Mathieu had a losing record against Alabama. He was known as a playmaker though, and he didn't make any plays against alabama. Not in the return game, not on defense. In the biggest game of his college career he gave up several key plays in man coverage. So I'd say we did well against the mighty honey badger, he never took over a game against Alabama like he did to others

I agree with you, Mathieu didn't have a huge impact against Bama in his career. I don't get why that's hard for people to admit.

your using a pretty low standard for well, if you think it means he didn't dominate you and your defense won a game for y'all.
