That's a little bit of a reach right there, if you had insinuated arts and humanities I possibly could get behind that statement.

The anthropology school is under the Franklin umbrella (arts and sciences) I believe. The Forestry school, is important because Timber is one of the biggest industries in the state, but in general, outside of GA, or CA, a forestry degree is worthless. Hell, even in GA or CA, a forestry degree is worthless unless you are going to work at the family farm and Granddaddy said you had to get your Warnell degree or you couldn't get your slice of the pie.

Professional sports is a multi-billion dollar business in this country.

There is a business, an industry there. It's bigger than timber.

It's a hell of a lot bigger than anthropology.

Why not go the Brandon Jennings route if you're a big time high school player and skip college altogether?
It's coming. It's just a matter of when.
There are no current overseas markets for football right now but the CFL might think about it. Why play by the NFL's rules and help them?
The next step is for players to challenge being legally forbidden to work in the pro leagues until a certain age.
With the money the NFL is making I think the anti-trust laws they operate under are archaic

You seriously have no clue what you're talking about with this statement.

Forestry degrees aren't worthless but certainly there are more lucrative paths. Oregon, Washington, and maybe even Maine have more timber than GA or CA though.
