Besides, Northwestern President announced he'll drop the football program if they unionize.

Sounds like a Walmart / 1 percenter man. SEC material to be sure.

Most schools lose money on college athletics. Just drop NCAA football, allow semi pro leagues to form and colleges can go back to club level, non scholarship football.

Yes and no, just like there are very profitable non profits groups. If you got 1 million this year and next year you got 1.2 million yet you managed to spend it all each year, it just means you are spending more when you should be setting it aside instead. Spend some time in an AD's budget and watch the stupid stuff they over pay for. Needs more scottish bankers in charge of the books and fewer communications majors.

then what happens to all schools that have built the stadium additions and renovations. You think ppl will donate major $$ to fund a 100K stadium at LSU, BAMA, A&M to watch club football?

TAF gives back atleast 5-7 million dollars a year to the school. This will really hurt not athletics but the schools as well.
