Religion in particular? I don't argue about it anymore. Never gets anywhere purposeful for either side. If someone asks me, yeah I'm a christian and not afraid to say it. If they want to talk more about my faith I a more than willing to do so as best I can. If not, cool. Next topic of conversation.

The bickering back and forth and trying to disprove/convince the other side of your views is a waste of time and effort for all involved.

I like talking to people that will explain why they believe what they do, or what their religion specifically teaches. I have a friend that's Muslim, and I constantly pick his brain about it. I find other religions fascinating.
