He has been a GOOD player, never a great one, even when healthy and he hasn't been healthy often enough for us to know exactly how good he is. Which, in itself is a problem. He and Spoon are just drags on the salary cap.

LOLWUT??

Julio had 41 catches and 580 yards in 5 games last season. That's a 131 reception 1900 yard season averaged out to 16 games. That would have made him the clear #1 receiver by +250 yards.

You have got to be a crack smoker to think Julio is a "drag on the salary cap" simply because he got injured. He's going to be a top 2 or 3 receiver in the league for the next 10 years for crap sakes, with several of those years likely being #1.

He played all 16 games in 2012 and put up 1200 yards and 10 TD's while having Roddy and Tony as co-#1 WR's on the team. We almost went to the SB with a horrible defense, mostly because of Julio.

I can understand being upset about all the draft picks we spent, but to also attempt to say Julio isn't special or going to be great for us is beyond retarded.

That he is a good, maybe great receiver I don't think is debatable. If he injures that foot again, it may be chronic. Let's hope he doesn't.

But he is a WR, you don't spend that much draft cache on a WR. You just don't.
