It would be a tough call if I were in that situation as I've always, in spite of my disdain for Longhorn sports, regarded the UT Law School as top notch. But as you say Arkansas has closed the gap and he should be fine, especially getting his undergrad degree there. That's the path I took, although I think the practice of law has become increasingly difficult over the years. But then again, maybe that's true of all professions.

Couldn't you talk to him into med school? I actually knew a select few folks who got both degrees. Lots of schooling though.
